Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is located within the Grand Palace in Bangkok. It is one of Thailand's most important temples, built during the reign of King Rama I in 1782. The temple houses the Emerald Buddha, a sacred figure representing the protector of the kingdom. Unlike other temples, Wat Phra Kaew does not have resident monks, but serves as the site for royal ceremonies.

 

Asiatique The Riverfront is a shopping and entertainment complex located along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. It first opened in 2012, developed from the restoration of the former East Asiatic Company docks, which were once a central trading hub. Today, Asiatique is a popular tourist destination featuring shops, restaurants, and attractions such as a Ferris wheel offering views of the Chao Phraya River.
