Wat Pho, also known as Wat Phra Chettuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Ratchaworamahawihan, is believed to have been constructed in the Ayutthaya period after 1688. The temple houses the Maha Bodhi.
Then, the guide will take you take a bus to Wat Saket.
Wat Saket, also known as the Temple of the Golden Mount in Bangkok, is an ancient temple dating back to the period of Ayutthaya. The temple was originally named Wat Sakae. During the reign of King Rama III, the royal government attempted to renovate and build a golden mount, but was unable to complete it in time.
During the reign of King Rama IV, the mount was changed to a pagoda that enshrined relics atop it, and it was named Suwanbanphot. The height of Suwanbanphot was 77 meters.
And then, the guide will take you to Khaosan Road.
Khaosan Road is a street that was established in 1892. Initially, it was a prominent place for selling rice in Phra Nakhon, which eventually grew into a community with numerous shops including toy stores and food shops. Later, Hollywood filmmakers visited the area, which led to its popularity among backpackers. This place has now become an important nightspot in recent years.
